Code4Lib Presentation on Pelican

Last night I did a short presentation for Code4Lib at Ryerson Library about Pelican. Kaitlin Newson covered the basics of Static Website Generators first, then talked about Hugo - another static website generator written in Go. I was surprised (perhaps I shouldn't have been) by the similarities between Hugo and Pelican (the framework I use for this blog). Here's her presentation and here's my presentation.

Honestly, if I were starting again ... I'd probably start with Hugo. Even though I know Python (which Pelican is based on) and I don't know Go (which Hugo is based on). Hugo looks that much better out of the box ... <sigh>
