X Terminal Programs
XTerms I know of.
- 9term - I think there have been a couple of re-implementations of this one. This is a link to the "Plan 9 from User Space" 9term man page (includes a convoluted download link).
- aterm - terminal for AfterStep - I use it because it does transparency without the weight of Eterm
- Eterm - Enlightenment terminal, big and heavy and flexible
- gnome-terminal - part of the GNOME project
- Konsole - part of the KDE project
- mlterm - multilingual terminal
- mrxvt - multi-tabbed lightweight rxvt derivative
- mxterm - Motif version of xterm
- rxvt - lighter xterm replacement, does pseudo-transparency.
- tilda - terminal that acts like a terminal from a first person shooter game, ie. press a key combo and it pops down from the top of the screen. Great idea, works okay, uses 5x the memory of aterm.
- urxvt - rxvt-unicode
- xfce4-terminal - part of XFCE
- xterm - the default on most systems
